Flower Meg was a sexy dream pop icon of 70’s Japan fascinating the whole East first in late night television broadcasts, then as a model, actress and muse of Kaneto Shindō, and singer. The name Flower Meg means Flower of Meguro (the Tokyo district it came from). He begins by acting in the theater and with dance; then, still very young, in 1970 she made her appearance in the Go-Go Club show "Space Capsule" where she captured the attention of a well-known director who hired her as cover girl of the night television program "23 O'Clock Show". At the age of 19 he made, for DAN, a branch of the historic Tokuma, the album ささやき·ためいき·もだえ (Sighs, Whispers and Anguish), today a holy grail for collectors. A collection of classic ‘lollipos’ and à la page songs of the era interpreted with a crazy sexy whisper, accompanied by the Dan Pop’s Orchestra.
