DESCRIPTION
Ode to R.L is a heartfelt collaborative album in honor of the late Hill Country Blues legend R.L. Boyce, born out of a magical night at Luther Dickinson’s Zebra Ranch Studios in Coldwater, Mississippi. Originally recorded during the pandemic while artists were off the road and hungry to create, the session became an impromptu summit of Hill Country and regional blues talent, including Christone “KingFish” Ingram, Alvin Youngblood Hart, Sharde Thomas, Jontavious Willis, Cam Kimbrough, and more. For G. Love, playing harmonica alongside R.L. that night was a dream realized, raw, soulful and full of laughter. After releasing Philadelphia Mississippi, G. Love and producer Logan Tichnor revisited the tapes and uncovered a powerful idea: sampling and reimagining R.L.'s performances into a fresh, contemporary context. Logan’s vision transformed the recordings into new tracks that fuse Hill Country Blues with modern grooves, capturing both R.L.'s spirit and the energy of the studio that night. Work on the project continued while R.L. was alive, but after his passing, it took on even deeper meaning. Ode to R.L stands as both a celebration and continuation of R.L. Boyce’s legacy and a bridge between generations, honoring the roots while pushing the blues into the future.

DESCRIPTION
Little Brother’s sophomore release delivered a solid follow up to their debut The Listening and cemented the group’s standing as one of the most important hip hop acts of the 2000s. The Minstrel Show was prominently feature in the hip hop media of the era–with XXL giving the album an "XL" rating and Scratch Magazine calling it a perfect 10 out of 10. The Minstrel Show debuted at number 56 on the Billboard Top 200.
To celebrate the release’s 20th anniversary, the project has been remastered for vinyl from the original ADAT tapes by Chris Boerner at The Kitchen Mastering and is presented for RSD Black Friday with the original Young Guru mixes in a 180g pressing. Also included, an insert with unseen photos and information, a commemorative Obi strip and two bonus cuts, “Hold On” and “The Olio”, that were not included on previous vinyl issues.

DESCRIPTION
En Vogue was formed in the late 80s by Oakland-based production and songwriting duo Denzil Foster and Thomas McElroy when they recruited vocalists for their release “FM2” for Atlantic. The concept was simple, a modern-day girl trio in the tradition of the Supremes, Martha and the Vandellas, the Ronettes and the like who had flourished in the early 1960s. Approximately 3000 women attended the auditions with Dawn Robinson, Cindy Herron, and Maxine Jones making the final cut. The group expanded almost immediately to a quartet with the addition of Terry Ellis who was initially heartbroken when missing the audition due to a delayed flight. Their debut, Born To Sing, went on to be certified Platinum three times over, propelled by four major singles, including "Lies", "You Don't Have to Worry", and "Hold On" (which was famously interpolated on the LL Cool J song “The Boomin’ System” from the same year), all of which peaked at the number one slot on Billboard's Hot R&B Songs chart. In addition to their immediate success, the group influenced the wave of vocal groups throughout the 90s, with a line-up of En Vogue continuing to this day. The super group Deltron 3030 is composed of producer Dan the Automator, rapper Del tha Funkee Homosapien and DJ Kid Koala. Their self-titled release features appearances by Damon Albarn (Gorillaz, Blur), Prince Paul, Peanut Butter Wolf, DJ Money Mark, MC Paul Barman, Sean Lennon and more. This Hip Hop concept album was released the same year as Gorillaz’ first 12" and is on a
similar plane. Following the release of Deltron 3030, all three members participated in Gorillaz’ self- titled debut album. With Del aka Deltron Zero on vocals, Dan the Automator aka The Cantankerous Captain Aptos on production, and Kid Koala aka Skiznoid the Boy Wonder on turntables, Deltron 3030 is in fact a concept album, taking the listener on a paranoid journey set in a dystopian year 3030 dealing with viruses, the apocalypse, an oppressive government, and a war waged against a huge company called the Corporate Bank of Time that rules the universe, For the 25th Anniversary Edition, Deltron 3030 is presented in a double splatter vinyl pressing housed in a gatefold jacket. Record one is a clear, yellow and black splatter with the second LP in a clear, mint green and bluejay splatter pressing. The vinyl is housed in printed inner-sleeves and the set also includes a commemorative OBI exclusively for RSD Black Friday.

First-time reissue of his private-press, highly sought-after grail album. Longineu Parsons is a versatile trumpeter, composer, multi-instrumentalist, singer and educator known for his work across jazz, classical and world music. His 1980 self-titled album, recorded in Paris, features hard-hitting jazz fusion tracks like "Take The High Road" and "Funkin' Around" that have become rare collector's items. Ubiquity Records reissued select tracks from the album in 1999 through its Luv N' Haight label titled "Spaced: Collected Works 1980-1999." Pressed on 180g black vinyl and housed in a heavyweight tip-on jacket with an Obi strip.
