Once again and per usual, Germany’s Expanded Art Records, known for their numerous and consistent catalog of exceptionally hot limited pressings of some of the most obscure and nimble Hip-Hop the global independent scene has to offer, provides us another solid wax banger for the collectors. Doom Brotherz is composed of producer Solomon Strange (heard on collaborations with Expanded Art powerhouse lyricist Roughneck Jihad on their joint effort The Adventures of Dr. Vodun) and MC The Man With The Mask. The duo combines for a hard-hitting and dusty unique excursion into the realm of the abstract street levels of dark and dope in The Resurrection of the Phantom. This release is limited to 250 hand-numbered white and red marble vinyl records and contains the instrumentals to some of the standout tracks of the LP. It is a natural purchase for hardcore fans of Madvillain, Adagio, Boogiemonsters, and Juggaknots, among others.
