Ever since, “The Soulkitchen Cookin’ Crew” has been doing its thing worldwide, playing live and DJing in the original, immortal Rare Groove style.In 2003 “The Soulkitchen Cookin’ Crew” started producing and recording their first album, creating original and so called „New Heavy Funk“ tunes, firstly in a very original raw soul style, just known from their 30 years ago founded 7“ label „Hot Pie & Candy Records“ they established for the legendary „Poets Of Rhythm“, the Munich band they signed in 1993.Later adding more grown up well arranged and produced songs with a late 70ts feel.It took them 12 Years to finish it and another 8 years more to release it and though after 20 years after the start of creating a full length album it has had its digital birth in 2023.
