The “Manifestin” 7-Inch is taken from Wildchild’s acclaimed new LP, Omowale. The Madlib-produced A side addresses the police brutality that’s been raging out of control throughout the country, incisively delivered by the Lootpack emcee. Featuring singer/songwriter, Angle Arce, the track showcases Madlib’s syncopated, funky rhythms and chunky basslines. The B side reimagines the Beat Konducta’s original mix with a Nottz-produced remix that straight slaps with neck snapping drums and thumping bass grooves that are complemented with the gospel-fueled melodies of Soulyghost. The 7-Inch is set to be available July 15 through Wildchild’s imprint in partnership with Fat Beats, and pressed on a milky clear vinyl configuration.
