Originally released a year before their 1995 debut album Dah Shining as a 12” single, Smif-N-Wessun’s first ever single pairing “Bucktown,” and “Let’s Git It On” is being repressed by P-VINE for the first time as a 7” picture disc. Loved for the subtle reggae infusions and jazzy production from Da Beatminerz, Brookyln MCs Tek and Steele’s rapping on a-side “Bucktown” is iconic, and b-side “Let’s Git It On,” with a guest verse from Rockness Monsta, is 90s hardcore hip-hop at its finest.
