DESCRIPTION

Future Primitive
The Echoes of Oratory Muzik label out of La Puente California strikes again with a hard-hitting vinyl release from Rhyme Apes (Braiinstorm and Mas One) that showcases the brilliance of some of the left coast’s most unsung heroes. Connecting with Cali underground legends such as Echoes members Roughneck Jihad of Third Sight, Neila (work with Daddy Kev, Deeskee, and Myk Mansun), The Word Man of Crop Circles 720 and A Nameless Word and Frank John James of Stereotype, the Rhyme Apes kick some conscious tongue in cheek wordsmithing flows for the masses to be amused by as they think about the status of the world. The Apes make us feel like we’re at a tour show in Los Angeles with Main Source over dynamic dusty jazz-based beats with intelligent compositional arrangements by Frank John James and scratches by DJ Roach (The Cloaks with AWOL ONE and Gel Roc). VERY RARE AND LIMITED translucent green pressing. For fans of MF Doom, Psycho Realm, De La Soul, Third Sight, Non Phixion, DJ Muggs, Freestyle Fellowship, etc.
