Hailing from Northeast Portland, Milc began making waves as an MC in 2020, sharing raw verses from his notes app during the pandemic. This creative surge marked the beginning of a serious rise, as the talented rapper grew a devoted following, highlighted by a 2024 UK tour with Rome Streetz. Brooklyn-based artist Chuck Strangers first emerged as the sonic backbone of the legendary rap collective Pro Era, crafting classic tracks for members like Joey Bada$$ and the late Capital STEEZ before expanding into a successful solo career and production work for Roc Marciano, Mick Jenkins, Boldy James, and more. Released via GoodTalk, Affordable Luxuries is collaborative album from Milc and Chuck Strangers, joining forces under the name Bad Tofu. The 12-track project delivers a blend of sharp lyricism and lo-fi boom-bap beats, offering a nostalgic yet fresh take on underground hip-hop.
