I Capricorn College furono un sestetto creato del compositore/musicista Mario Barigazzi, noto che come Barimar, e molto attivo sin dagli anni '60.
Orfeo 2000, del 1972, è il primo dei 2 LP che produssero (entrambi su Kansas) e sicuramente il più interessante, con spunti jazzistici e prog, soprattutto nelle tracce strumentali, e un cantato melodico tipico di quegli anni in Italia.
Una gemma nascosta e di estrema rarità da riscoprire.

Capricorn College was a sextet created by composer / musician Mario Barigazzi, known as Barimar, and very active since the 1960s.
Orfeo 2000, from 1972, is the first of the 2 LPs they produced (both on Kansas) and certainly the most interesting, with jazz and prog cues, especially in the instrumental tracks, and a melodic cantato typical of those years in Italy.
