Positive Force has steadily earnt its credentials amongst rare groove collectors through their 1983 self-titled album featuring Denise Vallin. Bearing no relation to the eight-piece funk band that signed to Sugar-Hill Records, the band put out a record of buttery smooth AOR, with lush arrangements and exemplary singing from Denise Vallin. Almost forty years after its release, the band has returned with a surprise Japanese release of new material. With direction from Japanese music journalist Toshi Kanazawa under his Light Mellow Arches imprint, P-VINE is delighted to present the original line-up once again featuring Leslie Page on vocals. This limited edition Japanese release ships with an iconic obi strip attached.
